Fanfic Recs

Most (but not all) of these are Silmarillion fic that are canon compliant (or at least don't directly contradict canon), are set during the first age, and focus on the Edain and world building over shipping (although several of them do include romances.) They're also primarily short stories and drabbles and with gorgeous prose.
